2/28/2023 0 Comments Gran turismo ps1 controls![]() ![]() I found that my braking distances were SHORTER, and the manoeuvre more controlled, using the DualShock2-accel./brake buttons with analogue switched ON. Gilles and I recently teamed-up and kicked some GT.com buttski in a Daishan (sp?) Silvia. The truth is Dango, I haven't done any rigorous testing on the issue, just made some observations. On a semi-related note, if you haven't made the switch to the 'sticks' yet(like me), some twitchy cars are smoothed out by setting the buttons for use with analog. Can't ask Gilles, since he uses his old DualShock with his PS2. Supposedly ALL the buttons on the DualShock2 for the PS2 are pressure sensitive. These posts sound like there is actually a controller where you can use buttons BUT the more you press the harder the brake is applied? True/false? Crazy? ![]() ing digital buttons bor throttle/brake here since I can't friggin' get used to the second joystick for throttle/brake on the Dual Shock controller. significantly shorter braking distances using GT2/PS2/Analogue-ON/button brakes, compared to digital brakes. I believe Crazyhorse found that when he uses GT2 on his PS2 with the pressure sensitive buttons, his braking distances were longer, thereby making his times slower.
